Summary

The Ifra “Where NEWS?” project is progressing. Two reports have already been published, you are holding the third report in your hands or you are looking at it on your PC’s or laptop’s desktop. The above sentence already describes what is going on today. Reading is not anymore reading on paper, or on newsprint respectively. Reading on a variety of devices, looking at a variety of screens from very small to very large, will be the future – no, the future is already here. Media and communication technology will influence our daily lives dramatically, that is for sure. It will creep into our kitchens, refrigerators, milk cans, cars, motorbikes, – you name it. Artificial Intelligence is the keyword you should not forget. This report will give us an outlook on what this might look like.
